The Overseas Students Ombudsman
The Overseas Students Ombudsman investigates complaints about problems that overseas students have with private education and training in Australia.
If you wish to make a complaint about a private education and training institution please visit: www.oso.gov.au
The Ombudsman also:
- provides information about best practice complaints handling to help private education providers manage internal complaints effectively
- publishes reports on problems and broader issues in international education that we identify through investigations.

Complaints about TASC services and/or processes can be made by writing to us at:

All complaints will be investigated and you will be informed of the outcomes of those investigations.
If you wish to appeal a decision of the Executive Officer, under the provisions of the Tasmanian Qualifications Act 2003 an education provider aggrieved by the refusal of the Executive Officer to grant:
- registration of the education provider or
- registration of an education service (course)
