Secondary International Student Exchange Organisations in Tasmania

Organisations must apply to register as a secondary student exchange organisation.

Organisations that seek approval are subject to both the Tasmanian Qualifications Act 2003 and the International Secondary Student Exchange Programs in Australia National Guidelines.

Please see Student Exchange Organisation Registration for details. In Tasmania, the registration period for organisations is for up to five years. A re-registration of the organisation is required and student exchange organisations should apply at least six months prior to their registration period expiring.

Register Outbound Student Exchange Students

The National Guidelines for the Operation of Secondary Student Exchange Programs in Australia require organisations to promptly notify their registering body of details of outbound students (see section 5.23).

Please complete a AASES form request for Student Exchange for each outbound student to meet your obligation to advice TASC of all outbound students.
