Subject: Comments invited on proposed courses
Date: November 12, 2009
A set of seven courses for learners with special needs has been proposed. These courses are at a level of complexity preliminary to TQA level 1.
The Authority has decided that courses that are submitted for accreditation consideration will be made available for public comment as part of the accreditation process.
Copies of courses submitted for accreditation are available at the TQA website page:
You are invited to comment on the following issues:
* are there any significant impediments to your organisation delivering this course if it wished to do so?
* if your organization were to deliver this course, are there any special transition arrangements needed for students in existing courses?
* is there any significant item of learning that should be removed from/added to the course?
* are there any reasons the Authority should consider sufficient grounds for refusing to accredit this course?
Email your comments to firstname.lastname@example.org by 20th November 2009. Be sure to specifically indicate the name of the course/s.
Please note that this invitation for comment is part of the accreditation process and comments need to address one or more of the issues noted above. This is not part of the course development process as that stage is now complete.
