From: mike.jenkins@tasc.tas.gov.au

Date: February 14, 2017

To: TASC Liaison Officers and teachers of SDI, Project Implementation and Work Readiness.

Course Plans and Proposals for TASC Approval:

A) Student Directed Inquiry Level 3 - Learning Designs for providers of this course must be approved by the Office of TASC. While these plans are normally due to TASC before the end of February each year, for 2017 (only) they will be accepted until 17 March 2017.

B) Project Implementation - Project Plans must be approved by TASC prior to the commencement of delivery and assessment. As the course has a size value of 5 and providers may choose to teach the course at various starting times during the year, there is no prescribed due date for these plans.

C) Work Readiness - a part of the quality assurance of this course is that providers will send to the Office of TASC:
1) a copy of the provider's scope and sequence documentation (the planning documentation for delivery and assessment) for this course. Delivery and assessment may be included in a single document, or a separate assessment matrix may be used
2) evidence of time allocation for the discrete delivery and assessment of the course.
While these documents are normally required by the 1st March each year, for 2017 (only) they will be accepted until 17 March 2017.

The noted plans and proposals should be sent to the Office of TASC via email addressed to: enquiries@tasc.tas.gov.au
