Computer Graphics and Design CGD215108 has a complexity level of TQA 2 and a size value of 15 (150 hours design time). Computer Graphics and Design CGD315108 has a complexity level of TQA 3 and a size value of 15 (150 hours design time). Computer Graphics and Design enables students to work within a contemporary design context, creating content in, and for, a digital environment, across a range of specialised areas. Students will use design principles, processes and practice to explore the diverse range of possibilities available for designing and creating visual content in the digital world. They will have the opportunity to extend and apply their understanding of these processes by undertaking an extended design project and content area study.
The following processes will be facilitated by the TQA to ensure there is:
Computer Graphics and Design TQA 2C Each provider will submit nominated computer graphics products from content area 1 or 2 of the course from a range of students to an annual meeting of all providers and, whenever possible, other expert stakeholders. The work, while not necessarily fully resolved, will be assessed by the provider against a range of nominated assessment criteria and the overall award. The TQA will give each provider guidance regarding the selection of students. The meeting of providers will confirm or modify the nominated assessments. A report will be given to the provider by the TQA of any variations between the initial and modified assessments. Computer Graphics and Design TQA 3C Processes - the Authority gives course providers feedback about any systematic differences in the relationship of their internal and external assessments and, where appropriate, seeks further evidence through audit and requires corrective action in the future.
