These courses are designed to enable students to demonstrate an advanced understanding of the design process by producing outstanding items. Through working with metals students will be involved in a variety of practical problem solving situations that lead to advanced skills, techniques and processes. Students are required to develop knowledge of metal and associated industries in order to gain an appreciation of vocational opportunities. Students are required to work independently and cooperatively showing initiative, ingenuity and resourcefulness.
